The ASF Promise
The Building Regulations 2010 Approved Document L requires the conservation of fuel and power in new and existing buildings. The ASF range is designed to be used in a wide range of applications where the passage of air is required to be restricted.
ASF Pipe Collars consist of a two part coated circular steel shell that fits around plastic pipes (PVC, PP, PE, ABS); plastic pipe bundles – with or without cables; and bundles of cables.
The collars have a secure and simple locking device. The steel shell contains a graphite based material that reacts to heat, expanding in the event of a fire to fill the opening left by the melting plastic of the through penetration.
It can be fitted on the outside of a wall or floor, or in combination with ASF FR Board or ASF Mortar.
